Women’s Bible Studies & Events

We offer a variety of studies for women to grow and be encouraged. Studies usually take place at Calvary Chapel or in a leaders home on different days and at different times so that if one doesn’t fit your schedule another may. Along with Bible studies we have small groups that meet for prayer each week as well as personal discipleship groups, which aren’t listed but you can get more information by contacting us.
See our FOCUS GROUPS page for more information and to sign up for current small group Bible studies, including Men’s and Women’s groups.

Below are the missionaries and outreaches we support both financially and through prayer. We encourage every believer to prayerfully consider their personal responsibility for the cause of world missions and evangelism. Some may be able to do only a little, while others may be able to do more. The only criteria for involvement in world evangelism is love for God, our fellow man, and a commitment to follow through with any commitment we make. With love as our motive and the Holy Spirit as our guide, we can work together to see God’s will “done on earth, as it is in heaven.”

MOPS (Mothers of Pre-schoolers)

MomsNext (for moms of school-aged children)
Meetings will resume September 7th

This year we will have three types of gatherings for you to join! The first Tuesday of the month, 6:30-8pm, is our MOPS and MOMS Next video and discussion meeting (childcare as needed). The second Tuesday of the month, 10-11:30am, will be our morning meetups, small groups for you and your kiddos to get connected. The third Tuesday of the month, 6:30-8pm, will be our (MNO) Mom’s Night Out gatherings, (childcare as needed).

You can register anytime at www.mops.org/join, group code LVW8. The cost to join is $32/year which goes to MOPS International. If you need help with your online registration, have questions, or want to meet the leadership team in advance, drop by our open house registration day August 31st from 10am-2pm at Colonial Park. We can also help you get registered at our first meeting, September 7th.

Normally, in addition to international fees, we have a local fee that we charge, (plus fundraising) for childcare expenses, supplies, and events. This year we have decided to allow you to pay as you go for each MNO, and when you use childcare, rather than one large flat fee for all.

Here at MOPS, we are on a mission to celebrate motherhood. We build circles of women who love each other like family, because raising humans is beautiful and hard, and having each other to lean on is life-giving. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own cities, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of being a mom. This is motherhood, and together we can change the world in all the best ways.
